What Methods of Treatment are Available?
Our treatment methods first and foremost are Client Centered. The client’s happiness and well-being is our primary goal. That said we do employ numerous proven methods of overcoming different issues. They are used as necessary and fitting for an individual client’s needs. Namely:
A collaboration between coach and client creating a highly interactive working partnership for the purpose of assisting the client in clarifying what they really want from life. Life coaches are seen as strategic partners and facilitate enhanced life satisfaction.
There is a difference between a therapist and a coach in that the traditional role of a therapist tends to focuses on psychosocial issues and/or psychological disorders. A therapist that is a coach may posses the unique freedoms to work with clients on issues from their past that may be holding the back or keeping them from moving forwards.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
This is psychotherapy emphasizing the role of our thoughts regarding what we do and how we feel, our emotions. There are several different types of CBT, including Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Rational Behavior Therapy, Rational Living Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, and Dialectic Behavior Therapy.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy treatment that was originally designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories.
Nothing By Chance™ Family and Marital Therapy is for couples who are ready and willing to change for the benefit and overall happiness of being together. Meeting as a couple and separately to find what issues may are getting in the way. Then taking serious purposeful action steps to overcoming them.
