I graduated from Webster University in 2005 with M.A. in Counseling Psychology. Received LPC in 2008. For 7 years, I worked in drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities where I provided individual and group counseling.
Many of the people I worked with came from dysfunctional families and/or had traumatic experiences which exacerbated their addictions. For the past year, I have worked with children who suffer from mental illnesses and/or behavioral problems along with their family to ensure their success at home and in school.
I also have experience with children who have developmental disabilities (i.e. PDD, Autism, Asperger’s Disorder and children with behavioral problems.
I like to help people focus on their strengths and find creative ways to solve problems, to be an objective partner in the therapeutic journey, and helping a person find inner peace and success.
