A One Hit Wonder Business

A “One Hit Wonder”, -the song that stays in your mind for eternity? If you created a song, what would that song be? How would it play? Would it be Country, Pop maybe Hard Rock? Why would people remember it?

Have you ever looked at getting your business to be a “One Hit Wonder”? The business whose name continues to play in peoples minds over and over; the business that is so successful you are able to sell it or walk away from it and continue to make a profit. If you are thinking, “That sounds great, but how would I ever do that?”. Easy, hire Jim Durkee! Maybe you have met him, maybe you haven’t. Did you know he has started no less than 10 businesses, been involved in 3 partnerships, has successfully sold 2 businesses and continues to be involved in 5 today? As if that wasn’t enough, he continues to coach others on how to improve their businesses everyday through his classes and individual sessions. When Jim works with a client, he evaluates all the procedures, processes and policies. He provides a strategy on how to improve them. Then he develops a plan for those who have a business dream and are determined to see it to completion.

I recently took Jim’s class “How to Build the Perfect Business” out of a 3 part series: “Building, Growing & Selling the Perfect Business”.  I can’t recommend it highly enough. I actually look at every interaction that I have with people differently. I look at my business differently. I look at the financials differently, the organization and the structure. You have to constantly plan, plan, plan with the business end in mind.

So if you want a “One Hit Wonder” of a business, at least meet Jim. Talk to him. See what he can do for you & your business. (He might come off a little over the top at first, but he’ll soften over time and take your business over the top. He is a great guy that might even start singing a “One Hit Wonder” for you!)
